SOOO GOOD - Yummy with a capital Y! If you want HOMEMADE, FRESH, UNIQUE, & DELICIOUS cookies - this is the place! They regularly have many varieties (even gluten free!), plus they create new flavors! Reds is a must-do when we have visitors too! We even bring our own milk and sit on the curb to enjoy under the trees LOL 😂 Plus, the people who work there are so welcoming and nice ☺️ Great business all around! Santa enjoys Reds too (see photo)🎅😉😂

TLDR; Come here. Get one of everything because life is short and you deserve it. I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for Red’s yet. We can only make it up this way about once a month and we always look forward to it. These are hands down, THE BEST BAKED GOODS IN NC. I’ve tried alot of them, and I bake myself but not near this level of excellence. I have not had one thing here that’s bad and we usually get quite the assortment when we come. My favorites so far have been the Buckeye and the Cookie Butter cookies. They offer a specific flavor of soft serve every week and the texture is off the walls good along with the flavors. They also have an espresso machine and offer lattes and coffee to pair with your goods! Seriously, love this place. If you’re looking for their flavor offerings they post every day on Instagram :)

All of the cookies we tried were super delicious! I mean really really delicious! Customer service was great as well. Anytime I'm in the Mooresville area i will definitely be stopping by Red's.

If you're in downtown Mooresville, you have definitely got to try this place! And if you're not local to the area, they ship nationwide! Some of the best chocolate chip cookies around! Much better than that big chain bakery which goes by a misspelled variant of "crumble". Highly recommend!

Seriously the best cookies we have ever had! - it’s a problem how delicious they are. The staff is awesome as well! Everything my husband and I have tried has been amazing - our favorites (if we had to choose) are the carrot cake, oatmeal cream pie, and chocolate chip. The lattes are fantastic as well. Highly recommend a visit.

If you have a sweet tooth, this is your spot! Even if you don't, you still need to check it out!!! I saw this place on Instagram and I was sold... I drove down the other day and got a couple cookies and their cookie and cream soft serve. It was all I could do not to eat everything in one sitting! One cookie had an amazing caramel glaze and the other was filled with a sweet, creamy cookie butter center. Portions and price are very fair- I appreciate that the soft serve was not gigantic, perfect size to satiate my sweet tooth. I will definitely be back! Service was great- there were a few people ahead of me but the line moved very fast. They have a small merch/retail shelf as well with candles, local goods. And a coffee counter that I will have to try next time! My ONLY complaint grievance is that there is no seating here whatsoever..I hope they consider adding a bench or two outside or even a two-top table inside!

Stopped by this cookie shop and it did not disappoint! The cookies were absolutely delicious—fresh, soft, and full of flavor. It’s hard to pick a favorite because they were all so good. The shop itself was welcoming and the staff were super friendly. You can tell they take pride in what they make. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving a sweet treat. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re nearby!

Of course everyone loves desert, but this place is simply above the competition. Every time we find ourselves in downtown Mooresville I try to swing by this place to crab a cookie, or 4 the last time I went. They don't have a vast selection, but the items they do have are hard to resist. They do vary their selections often, so even if you are a regular, you have an opportunity to try something new. Also, the soft-serve ice cream is quite good. They do mix up the flavors I think on a weekly interval, but more often that not, if you're looking for a colder treat, it's a great option. Just a couple of other things to note, the staff there are always friendly and happy to serve. They have introduced coffee into the mix, which I haven't tried, but given the choices, I'm confident is very good. In conclusion, always a great place to get a treat, just don't stand in line too long or you'll end up with way more than you planned!

I had a wonderful experience visiting Red’s Scratch Bakery on Saturday, August 2, 2025. I came in craving cookies and although I also wanted to try their ice cream, I decided to save that for another visit. I sampled several of their cookies and treats, including: • Chocolate Chip • Oatmeal Raisin • Frosted Sugar Cookie • Snickerdoodle • And a chocolate brownie topped with peanut butter and fudge The chocolate in the cookies was incredibly rich, and each item I tried was enormous and clearly made from scratch. You can taste the quality and care in every bite—each cookie was absolutely delicious. Red’s doesn’t just stop at cookies—they also offer brownies, ice cream, and coffee. On the left side of the store, there’s a cozy barista station with oat milk and likely other milk alternatives. I wanted to grab a photo, but the shop started getting crowded. Heads up: This venue can get crowded fast, especially on weekends. I went around 12:50 p.m. and it wasn’t too bad at first, but a line started forming shortly after. I’ve heard that 2 p.m. is their peak time on weekends. The lobby area is pretty small, so be mindful of when you go if you want to beat the rush. Also note: Many of the cookie flavors featured on their Instagram are pre-order only. If you’re looking for something specific, it’s best to order ahead online or be prepared to wait and return later if they’re baking fresh batches. This bakery is also great for catering—perfect for events like baby showers, birthdays, bridal showers, or other special occasions. All in all, Red’s Scratch Bakery is a gem in Mooresville, and I’ll definitely be back to try their ice cream, more cookie flavors, and coffee drinks!

My first time being there. We decided to play it safe and order the half dozen classic chocolate chip cookies. These cookies just might be the best cookies I've ever had. So rich and delicious. Im just pissed off that I bought a half dozen instead of a dozen lol. Absolutely will be back. I cant wait to try the rest of their cookies.
